The main machine of the plastic granulator structure is an extrusion machine, which is composed of an extrusion system, a transmission system and a heating and cooling system. Extrusion system The extrusion system includes a screw, a barrel, a hopper, a die, and a mold. The plastic is plasticized into a symmetrical melt through the extrusion system and is continuously extruded by the screw under the working pressure established in this process.   

(1) Screw: it is the most important part of the extruder. It is made of high-strength corrosion-resistant alloy steel, which is related to the use scope and productivity of the extruder.   

(2) Barrel: It is a metal barrel, usually made of alloy steel with high-temperature resistance, high compressive strength, strong wear resistance and corrosion resistance or composite steel pipe lined with alloy steel. The barrel is matched with the screw to break, soften, melt, plasticize, exhaust and tamp the plastic, and continuously and evenly deliver the rubber to the forming system. Generally, the total length of the barrel is 15~30 times its diameter, so the plastic can be heated and plasticized in many ways. A brief introduction to the structure of plastic granulator

(3) Hopper: A cut-off device is installed at the bottom of the hopper to adjust and cut off the material flow, and a sight hole and a calibration measuring device are installed at the side of the hopper.   

(4) Head and die: the head is composed of an alloy steel inner sleeve and a carbon structural steel outer sleeve, and a forming die is installed in the head. The function of the die head is to transform the plastic melt that automatically rotates into a parallel and uniform linear motion, guide it into the top block symmetrically and stably, and give the plastic the necessary forming working pressure. The plastic is plasticized and tamped in the machine barrel, flows into the head forming die through the neck of the head through a certain flow passage through a porous filter plate, and the die core and die sleeve are properly matched to form an annular gap with decreasing cross-section, so that the plastic melt forms a continuous and dense tubular coating around the core line.   

In order to ensure that the plastic flow passage in the head is effective and remove the dead corner of the accumulated plastic, a shunt sleeve is often installed. In order to remove the working pressure fluctuation during plastic extrusion, the lightning arrester is also set. The die head is also equipped with a die aligning and adjusting device, which is convenient for adjusting and aligning the concentricity of the die core and the top block.   

Recycled waste plastics should be broken into particles by a crusher first, and then be granulated after selection and cleaning. If the waste plastic is broken, the model is usually 30HP or above, or there is a small model machine, depending on the recycled materials.
